The dark grey deluxe design is created using high-definition digital printing. The artwork is applied to the reverse of the glass, meaning the printed surface remains protected once the splashback has been fitted to the wall. This printing method allows the soft grey shapes, fine black outlines and scattered metallic-effect details to remain visible through the glass.

Opti-White glass is used because it contains less of the green tint commonly found in standard clear glass. This helps maintain the intended colours of the artwork, which is particularly important with a design combining charcoal, black, grey and warmer gold tones. The glass is toughened for additional strength and is heat resistant up to 500°C. This means the dark grey deluxe splashback can be positioned behind gas, induction and ceramic hobs, as well as around worktops and other food preparation areas.

Its smooth surface also makes cleaning simple. Cooking splashes, water marks and grease can normally be removed using an everyday glass cleaner and a soft cloth. There are no grout lines or textured areas where dirt can collect. Because the image is protected behind the glass, routine cleaning does not touch the printed design itself. UV-stable printing also helps maintain the appearance of the colours when the splashback is exposed to daylight.

Delivery Information

Our dark grey deluxe splashbacks are manufactured individually to order. This allows the artwork to be printed and the glass finished before the completed splashback is carefully checked and prepared for delivery. Standard-size products are generally dispatched within five working days. Custom-made splashbacks and orders requiring socket cut-outs or additional glass processing usually have a longer production time of up to fifteen working days, or around three weeks. Completed splashbacks are securely packaged to minimise the risk of damage during transport and sent using a next working day courier service.
